The Crown Voices Are Back!

The Crown Voices is our premier singing group which was started after the move to our new location in March of 2017. Our goal was to find talented young voices and help them bring out their inner performer through group vocal training. After a successful audition with many different ages and nationalities represented, we chose the best performers to go into Crown Voices Program.  Many of the students had performed in school and church but had never been in such a group nor received any formal vocal training.

Over the next 6 months, the group began to take shape as a single unit. The weekly classes helped the trainers understand the strengths and weaknesses of each student while the group dynamic helped them improve much faster. The initial separation of Pre-Crown & Crown Voices was removed to form one large group of boys and girls of mixed ages and experience. This brought the students closer together and helped raise the confidence of the whole class.

Towards the Christmas Concert, the intensity began to ramp up. Multiple rehearsals throughout the week left the kids and trainers exhausted but with will and determination, they stayed on schedule all through until December.

The concert day was full of excitement, more so for The Crown Voices because of their role as the centerpiece of the musical concert featuring a Live Band, Actors and Dance performers. As the curtains opened, we were proud to see smiling faces and loud voices representing Invisible Crown on the Braeside stage.

This year they’re back, bigger and better! A brand new audition is up and ready searching for bright young talents to join the program and bring out their best. Come join us and sing your heart out with The Crown Voices.

Heart Day & Parents Orientation

As we journey forward into the year, we reflect on the blessings we have received and seek to share these blessings with those in need.

We welcome all our parents and friends this Saturday to our Invisible Crown’s Heart Day. A day where we focus on giving back to the less fortunate in society.

Donations of dry foodstuffs, clothes, toiletries, and books will be collected at Crown House, Kileleshwa and taken to Msamaria Mwema Children’s Home in Kabete, a privately run home with 33 children aged 6 to 19 years.

Parents of Invisible Crown also have a chance to discuss their experience with us and have any of their questions answered by our directors from 9 am to 2 pm.
